?Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Filip Lesniak will be playing for his future when he suits up for the side’s post-season trip to Hong Kong, according to Sky Sports.
Lesniak’s contract expires this summer, and Spurs will have one last look at his performances before deciding whether or not they will offer him a new deal.
The player returned from his loan with Czech outfit Slovan Liberec earlier this month and is believed to have impressed manager Mauricio Pochettino while training with the first team.
He also started on the bench for the Londoners’ last two Premier League games, coming on as a substitute to set up a goal for Golden Boot winner Harry Kane in the 6-1 drubbing of Leicester City.
He did not come off the bench in the 7-1 win against Hull City on the last day, however.
The player – who is the grandson of of Slovakia’s national team head coach Jan Kozak – has been named in the squad to face Kitchee SC in Hong Kong on Friday alongside Luke Amos, Will Miller and Kazaiah Sterling; three other academy stars.
Several Championship sides are said to be interested in singing Lesniak for free this summer, as well as outfits from his country Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia and Greece.
