?Football seems to run in the Eriksen family as Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen’s sister has earned her first call up to the senior Denmark squad.
21-year-old Louise Eriksen is among the 28 players selected to play a friendly match against Finland next month in preparation for the European Championships later this summer.
Speaking to Denmark BT (via Sport Witness), Christian expressed his delight in seeing his little sister receiving her first international call up.
“I try to follow her as much as I can, and we often talk together and try to visit each other as much as possible,” he stated.
“I also go to see her play when I’m at home. Of course I hope that she will be successful and have good experiences with football. I think she enjoys football as much as me, and that is probably what is still the most important thing for both of us. That we think it is great fun to play.”
Christian Eriksen is enjoying a fine season of his own as he has scored a total of 10 goals and produced 12 assists in all competitions for Tottenham.

Despite the Premier League title seemingly out of reach, Tottenham are still fighting to finish above local rivals Arsenal for the first time in 22 years, not to mention an FA Cup semi-final appearance against Chelsea at Wembley next month.
If everything goes to plan, it could turn out to be a fantastic end to the 2016/17 campaign for the Eriksen family.
