


{"id":13607,"date":"2017-06-02T02:36:36","date_gmt":"2017-06-02T02:36:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.violetsport.com\/2017\/06\/02\/6-candidates-who-could-succeed-walter-mazzarri-as-watford-manager\/"},"modified":"2017-06-02T02:36:36","modified_gmt":"2017-06-02T02:36:36","slug":"6-candidates-who-could-succeed-walter-mazzarri-as-watford-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.violetsport.com\/?p=13607","title":{"rendered":"6 Candidates Who Could Succeed Walter Mazzarri as Watford Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div itemprop=\"articleBody\" readability=\"75.5\">\n<div class=\"introduction fragment\" readability=\"19\">\n<p class=\"block block--p block--align-left\">Walter Mazzarri has now left his post at Watford following the final game of the season &#8211; despite securing the Hornets another year in England&#8217;s top flight &#8211; which initiates the club&#8217;s search for their ninth manager in five seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"block block--p block--align-left\">Mazzarri reportedly polarised the group with his old-fashioned disciplinarian approach where his struggle to get to grips with the English language also posed as an issue for those in the changing room. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"block block--p block--align-left\">With Watford effectively a revolving door for managers, stability is needed for the club who has not been able to hold onto a manager for longer than 11 months, and here are the potential candidates to take the reigns at Vicarage Road:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>1. Victories recorded over Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham showcase the Portuguese mangers&#8217; ability to contest clubs in the top half of the table.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"block block--p block--align-left\">However, Silva did not successfully manage to save Hull from the drop which could raise questions for the Watford hierarchy, but with an arguably better squad at his disposal at the Hornets &#8211; Silva could prosper by having a full pre-season to prepare.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>2.
