?Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe has revealed that he will make a decision on his future after his international duty with England.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old will leave the relegated Black Cats on a free transfer in the summer having scored 15 Premier League goals.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth are understood to have agreed terms with Defoe over a potential three-year contract, but he has insisted that he is simply focusing on playing for England.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been a lot of speculation about me going to this club and that club, a lot of stuff about Bournemouth,\u201d Defoe said – via the\u00a0Sunderland Echo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have just kept my head down and I am focused on England and the two games coming up, whether I play or not, just to be around the team and to try and enjoy it. There is no better feeling than to put that England shirt on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to get my head down, get England out of the way and then sit down with my family and decide what I really want to do. We\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the reports of a move to\u00a0Bournemouth, he added:\u00a0\u201cIt is a fantastic club. Even if I was stood here a retired footballer, I would turn round and say for any player, young player, someone that wants to improve and play under a top manager, coaches, a family club, then I would say yeah it is a good club to go to.<\/inline><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat Eddie Howe has achieved is unbelievable. They have a good team, a lot of energy and my time there when I was younger I really enjoyed it, it was brilliant.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut at the moment I want to focus on England.\u00a0The season is finished now, switch off from league football and focus on international football. After that I\u2019m sure everyone will know what is happening.\u201d<\/inline><\/p>\n
