?Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has expressed his belief that there is more improvement to come from his players after they achieved the club’s highest ever finish.<\/p>\n
Sunday’s 1-1 draw against last season’s title winners Leicester at the King Power Stadium left the Cherries in 9th and an impressive top half position.<\/p>\n
And Howe, who guided Bournemouth into the top flight and last season finished 16th, praised his team and stressed that there is still more to come.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n <\/i><\/p>\n \u201cA top-half finish wasn\u2019t something that was on our list but we\u2019ve done it,” he said – via the\u00a0 Mirror.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s full justification to the players for what they have achieved and how they\u2019ve improved. Right now I want to enjoy this season. I feel there\u2019s a lot more improvement from this group to come. What that is and how that comes out we\u2019ll wait and see.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a long summer for me as we think about how to improve the team and individuals \u2013 the right recruitment is obviously important.<\/p>\n \u201cBut we\u2019ve become more streetwise in the Premier League.
