?Swansea’s star striker Fernando Llorente has insisted he is happy at the club despite transfer reports of a move away in the summer, report\u00a0?BBC Sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Llorente was a big part in the Swans’ survival this season after scoring 15 goals in 33 league appearances and his performance\u00a0has drawn the attention of several clubs, with Champions Chelsea showing interest in the past.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Spaniard has downplayed those reports saying he is happy at the club and is looking forward to next season at the Liberty stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He said:\u00a0“I’m very happy with my first season in the Premier League.\u00a0<\/inline>It’s an amazing league, an incredible atmosphere in all the stadiums. And I want to thank our supporters because they are amazing. I’m looking forward to next season with Swansea, I have a contract and I’m happy here.”<\/inline><\/p>\n

Llorente praised boss Paul Clement for managing to save the club from relegation, who were rock bottom when he joined he January.\u00a0<\/inline><\/p>\n

The striker added:\u00a0<\/inline>“We were in a very difficult situation, this [relegation] danger, but our performances in the last matches were amazing.<\/inline><\/p>\n

“The job of Paul Clement is amazing. When he arrived, the team was without confidence, down and he was hard, and gave us a lot of confidence. I’m very happy for him, for the team, for the supporters, the club, an amazing club. I’m very happy.”<\/inline><\/p>\n

Llorente scored a late winner for\u00a0Swansea to\u00a0win their last game of the season against West Brom 2-1 which gave them a 15h place finish, three spots above the drop zone.<\/inline><\/p>\n
