?Swansea’s players will pay for the tickets of the\u00a0away fans that travel to Sunderland on Saturday,\u00a0?the Mirror\u00a0have reported.<\/p>\n

The Swans will be aiming for a potentially crucial three points at the Stadium of Light, having beaten Everton 1-0 last weekend.<\/p>\n

That victory saw Paul Clement’s side climb above Hull City into 17th, although just one point seperates the sides with two games of the season remaining.<\/p>\n

With a long trip north to Sunderland at such a pivotal point of the campaign, the Swansea squad have offered to pay for the tickets of the 3,000 expected supporters.<\/p>\n

“It is a shame we can’t bring all the fans,” Swans boss Paul Clement said.\u00a0“The players paying for the supporters’ tickets came from Leon Britton and I thought it was a brilliant idea.<\/span><\/p>\n

“That’s been done by the players and led by Leon and we hope they get up there safely.”<\/p>\n

Swansea have the advantage of playing before Hull, who visit Crystal Palace on Sunday. A win for the Welsh side against Sunderland would mean that Hull would go down without a victory the following day.<\/p>\n

“It can swing so quickly the other way,” Clement added.\u00a0“We have to really focus on making sure we do a good job at Sunderland.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We know that Hull have got a difficult game with Crystal Palace still not out of it and that’s going to be hard.\u00a0But the most important thing is to do a good job when we go to Sunderland.”<\/span><\/p>\n
