?Swansea striker Jordan Ayew has revealed that a conversation with his brother Andre convinced him to move to the Liberty Stadium back in January.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having been relegated with Aston Villa last season, the younger of the Andre brothers Jordan, pushed for a move away from the club at the start of 2017, as he went in pursuit of top flight football.\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/i><\/p>\n

In a recent\u00a0?interview, the 25-year-old has explained how a discussion with his brother, who coincidentally had left Swansea the summer to join West Ham for a record \u00a320.5m, helped him decline interest from Ligue 1 and instead head to the Welsh outfit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

”I was about to go back to France,\u201d Jordan revealed. \u201cBut when I heard about Swansea, I knew I wanted to come.<\/p>\n

”I spoke to my brother and he also told me to come here. He said I would be making a good move for my career.<\/p>\n

”He has good memories of Swansea, and I knew about the club and the city because of him.\u00a0When Andre was playing here, I was here every week. We had a day off at Villa and after training I would come to spend some time with him.<\/inline><\/p>\n

”I was always laughing at my brother because in Swansea it was always raining. A year later, I am here! You cannot predict what will happen.”<\/p>\n

Having joined the Swans for an undisclosed fee three months ago, Jordan will now be hoping to play a key role in the remainder of the season, as\u00a0Paul Clement’s men look to avoid dropping into the Championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Swansea currently occupy the final relegation spot and\u00a0have just six games left to climb out of the bottom three and thus retain their Premier League status for at least another season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
