David Moyes’ reputation could be\u00a0permanently\u00a0tarnished, after\u00a0the Sunderland manager has once again, been accused of verbally abusing a female reporter.<\/p>\n

The Scot caused huge controversy last week,\u00a0after footage emerged which saw him jokingly threatening a female reporter with a ‘slap’.<\/p>\n
Moyes told Vicki Sparks that her questions in a post game interview were, “a wee bit naughty,” and further added, “You still might get a slap, even though you’re a woman. Careful next time you come in.”<\/p>\n

The former Everton and Manchester United manager apologised for the incident and claimed it was ‘out of character’.\u00a0<\/span>Despite his apology, the incident brought a scathing reaction from many, including FA Chairman Greg Clarke.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, the spotlight could once again be on the 53-year-old, as\u00a0<\/span>?the Telegraph<\/span>\u00a0have\u00a0reported that a similar incident occurred in December 2012.\u00a0<\/span>On this occasion, Moyes was\u00a0still Everton\u00a0manager, and the controversial remarks were made towards Jacqui Oatley, a reporter for the BBC.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/i><\/p>\n The incident centred around an alleged head-butt from Marouane Fellaini, which\u00a0Moyes\u00a0was questioned about following the match.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n However, the then Everton boss was not pleased with Oatley’s questions, nor with her follow-up enquiries, regarding the potential loss of Fellaini to suspension.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Moyes responded,\u00a0“Bad enough asking me about the first one never mind asking me another one. I\u2019ve not seen the other stuff. It\u2019s down to the FA.
