Convicted paedophile and former Sunderland winger Adam Johnson has set up a football team named after himself in prison, according to\u00a0?the Sun.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old now plays for a side named\u00a0Johnson\u2019s Superstars, made of of fellow convicts, on a pitch at\u00a0<\/span>HMP Moorland where he is currently jailed. Johnson also apparently insists on taking his teammates on a 10-minute prior to kick-off to make sure his side are fully prepared for their matches.<\/span><\/p>\n

Johnson scored in his last game as a professional footballer in a 2-2 draw\u00a0against Liverpool before being locked up for sexual activity with a girl aged 15, and has\u00a0swapped crowds of 44,000 supporters for a handful of prison guards watching on.<\/span><\/p>\n

?\u201cIt will irk a lot of people that Johnson looks so at ease,” a source told the Sun.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe could be mistaken for a footballer enjoying time with his pals in any park across the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not exactly enduring a \u00adliving hell in there. He has a kudos as a former England international and Premier League star. It sticks in the craw a little.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson is allowed to pull\u00a0on an orange strip twice a week, facing a huge concrete wall behind the goal. His side are only allowed to play teams from his wing due to fears that he could be attacked by other prisoners.<\/p>\n

Johnson was convicted of sexual activity with a child in March 2016 and sentenced to six years in prison.<\/p>\n
