Bryan Oviedo has vowed to play his part in Sunderland’s attacking game in their remaining Premier League games this season.

The Black Cats are currently seven points adrift from 17th placed Swansea City, and have scored just seven goals since the turn of the year – four of which came in one game against Crystal Palace at the beginning of February.<\/p>\n

Oviedo looked lively on Saturday as Sunderland looked to beat Burnley, the worst team away from home in the division this season, but disappointingly, they couldn’t find the breakthrough.

All in all, David Moyes’ men have found the net just 24 times in 28 games – the second-worst record in the Premier League after Middlesbrough, who have notched\u00a0a pitiful 20 in the same number of games.
?<\/p>\n

As quoted by the ?Shields Gazette<\/span>, Oviedo said: “For me it is the easiest part, attacking over defending, I need to help the team create more chances. I think we have very good options, we made some good moments on the left-hand side but we need to keep getting better and we have to finish the chances we get, as well as keep creating more.<\/p>\n

“We did the most difficult thing with the clean sheet, which is very difficult, but we did it well against Burnley. We feel disappointed that we missed our chances because we created a lot, but we need to continue and score, because we won\u2019t win games.”

Oviedo only\u00a0joined Sunderland in January, along with teammate Darron Gibson, and has made five league appearances so far for his new club.<\/p>\n
