?Chelsea winger Willian has opened up about his last minute move to Chelsea and insists he didn’t care about ditching Tottenham, who at the time, were favourites to sign the Brazilian.
Willian joined the Blues in the summer of 2013, but the move caused some controversy as London rivals Tottenham appeared to have all but agreed a deal, after the had player passed a medical at White Hart Lane.

The 28-year-old told the club’s YouTube channel, as quoted by the ?Star:
“When I came I am very, very happy to play for Chelsea, to win titles here, so I am very, very happy.
“Yes, it was difficult, but I didn’t sign. When at the last moment Chelsea call me I say I’m sorry but I go to Chelsea, that’s my dream.
“I have to go there, I don’t care. I go there.”
Willian has proved to be a big success during his three years at Stamford Bridge and was named the club’s player of the season last year.
Most recently, the Brazilian came off the bench in last Saturday’s showdown with Manchester City at the Etihad. The winger made an instant impact by giving his side a 2-1 lead thanks to a well taken goal and Eden Hazard’s last strike helped Chelsea seal a resounding 3-1 victory over their title rivals.
