Slaven Billc’s West Ham host Antonio Conte’s Chelsea at the London Stadium on Monday night.
Bilic’s side have had a recent run of success employing the 4-2-3-1 formation, picking up points against Southampton, Watford and West Brom in the past three weeks.
Here’s how they could lineup against Chelsea…
Darran Randolph looks likely to continue in goal as he appears to have beaten Adrian out for the number one shirt for the Hammers.
At the heart of defence, new signing Jose Fonte is starting to form an understanding and partnership with stalwart Winston Reid. However, the Hammers are yet to keep a clean sheet in five games since the Portuguese centre back arrived.
Kouyate and Cresswell are full backs who have licence to attack and BIlic encourages them to join when they can
In the midfield, club captain Mark Noble will partner Pedro Obiang in providing the defensive screen against the tricky Chelsea midfielders.
January signing Robert Snodgrass has injected some life in to the Hammers midfield, although he is yet to score for his new club. Manuel Lanzini and Sofiane Feghouli are both finding form of late also, as Snodgrass’s arrival has allowed them to utilise their talents in wide areas.
Up front, Slaven Billic has a real selection headache. Andy Carroll is facing a race against time to be fit after suffering a groin injury, while Michail Antonio – who has been on prolific form over the past month – is suspended after a red card against Watford last time out.
Expect former Swansea winger Andre Ayew to slide inside and lead from the front, although the front four will likely fluidly rotate throughout the match, causing the Chelsea defence some issues in terms of marking.
